Today’s Fort Myers fishing charter report … Charlie with a very nice and big trout from Chadwick’s Bayou … up near South Sea’s Plantation on the north end of Captiva

… caught and released this fish sometime in late summer or early fall …

I think we also caught a dogfish that morning!

We’re based in Fort Myers, but our boats leave from Castaways Marina on the northern tip of Sanibel Island, and ‘Tween Waters and Jensen’s Marinas on Captiva Island, all about a half hour drive from Fort Myers.

Most of the time we’re within casting distance of land, fishing the mangroves, or the oyster bars or the passes; we’ll go out a mile or two into the bay or gulf if we’re looking for goliath grouper, or tarpon or sharks.
