We’re based in Fort Myers, but our boats leave from Castaways Marina on the northern tip of Sanibel Island, and ‘Tween Waters and Jensen’s Marinas on Captiva Island, all about a half hour drive from Fort Myers.

Most of the time we’re within casting distance of land, fishing the mangroves, or the oyster bars or the passes; we’ll go out a mile or two into the bay or gulf if we’re looking for goliath grouper, or tarpon or sharks.

2-22-14 ~ Fort Myers fishing report:  sea trout on the grass flats and oyster bars – we caught a lot of fish on the bay side yesterday, including trout, black drum, redfish and snook!

Things are starting to heat up after the cold weather in January and early February!  The fish have been hitting very aggressively in the last day or so.
