Redfish, Chadwick’s Bayou, Captiva, Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva Charters & Fishing Guide Service.

Here’s a nice redfish we caught in Chadwick’s Bayou, near South Seas Resort on the north end of Captiva.  Good fisherman and good fish!

Please call 239-472-8658 or email captjoefred@gmail to book a Sanibel & Captiva, Fort Myers or Boca Grande fishing guide or charter.

We’re based in Fort Myers, but our boats leave from Castaways Marina on the northern tip of Sanibel Island and Jensen’s Marina on Captiva Island.

Both locations are about a half hour drive from Fort Myers and are worth the drive.  We’ll catch fish and the scenery is beautiful.  You will want to stay on Sanibel or Captiva for your next visit.

This isn’t deep sea fishing.  It is the best and most pleasant fishing you will ever do, whether you are a beginner, a family just out for fun, or a serious fisherman or woman.  We bump along, amongst, and in and out of the islands.

Most of the time we’re within casting distance of land, fishing the mangroves, or the oyster bars or the passes, but we also will go out a half to a one mile or so into the bay or gulf if we’re looking for goliath grouper, or tarpon or sharks.  Even then, you won’t feel you have gone too far or that you are far from land.  Your perception will be that you are much closer to land than a mile or so out.  A mile is less than five minutes in the boat.

We fish, shell and sightsee Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva, Cayo Costa, Pine Island, Cabbage Key, Useppa & Boca Grande, depending on the time of the year.  Most of the time we focus on Sanibel, Captiva and North Captiva.  We fish along both the bay and gulf sides.

So let’s go on a Fort Myers fishing charter – or let’s go on a Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva or Cayo Costa Island shelling guide trip.  Just give me a call and we’ll lineup a charter!

We depart from Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, on the bay side, just south of the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.  We also have a boat that leaves from Jensen’s Marina on Captiva, just another five or so minutes north of Castaways.

Fair winds and following seas,

Captain Joey Burnsed and first mates Charlie and Hank …
